Not much to report on for this day......just stayed around the house, then dodged a tornado around 10:30 pm LOL The tornado was supposed to be on its way to our area and all were told to take shelter NOW (about 10:12pm) so we prepared the closet with pillows and blankets but it never arrived, thank goodness!! There was still a "watch" until 2 am so I slept very lightly for awhile that night but nothing happened :)
Photo of some pelicans gliding along the top of the water. They are fun to watch as they glide in single file just above the water. The lead pelican will flap his wings and the rest will follow, then will glide and the rest will follow. If the lead swoops downward, the rest follow and so on! It's quite interesting!
